RESTAURANT
PROJECT SHOWCASE
| PROJECT
NAME: Steelhead Diner- Pike Place Market -
Seattle, WA
CUSTOMER:
Kevin Davis
SCOPE
OF WORK: Celebrity chef, Kevin Davis, had a clear vision
for his first restaurant – to design the space around
his passion for fly fishing. The majority of the work involved
replacing the finishes throughout the space: new flooring,
casework, ceiling treatments, light boxes and a new opening
into the kitchen to allow customers to watch the action in
the kitchen while dining on the some of the freshest NW cuisine.

| PROJECT
NAME: O’Asian Kitchen - Downtown Seattle, WA
CUSTOMER:
CLO Design
SCOPE
OF WORK: This project started with a complete demolition
of 11,000 square feet of old Ruth Chris steakhouse finishes,
brining the space to shell condition. Much of the space's
character was fashioned by incorporating light boxes with
new casework, creating centerpieces to define the separate
areas within the bar and dining rooms. |

| PROJECT
NAME: Veil - Queen Anne - Seattle, WA
CUSTOMER:
Arai Jackson Ellison Murakami
SCOPE
OF WORK: DPI was on board for the build out of the restaurant
from the beginning, but had to step in as the building’s
shell contractor fell short of its commitments. The preconstruction
process was critical as managing the client’s tight
budget while maintaining the architect’s design intent
became an important goal for the whole team. |

| PROJECT
NAME: Frontier Room - Belltown, Seattle, WA
CUSTOMER:
Robert Eickhof
SCOPE
OF WORK: A Seattle icon since 1954, the Frontier Room
had seen many renditions over the years. The intent of the
remodel was to maintain the rough character of the popular
"dive" bar and restaurant. The original floor and wall coverings
were used in conjunction with mahogany, raw steel and cedar
to create a funky atmosphere compatible with the authentic
BBQ cuisine. |

| PROJECT
NAME: Collins Pub - Pioneer Square -
Seattle, WA
CUSTOMER:
CLO Design
SCOPE
OF WORK: This project was built out from a grey shell
condition in one of Seattle’s many historic buildings.
Extensive mechanical work involved building a shaft through
6 floors of offices to vent the kitchen equipment to the roof.
Hardwood floors and warm wood tones mix well with the original
brick and stone walls. DPI built the back bar and the bar
itself as part of the extensive casework package. |

| PROJECT
NAME:
Razzal's Sports Bar - Snohomish, WA
CUSTOMER:
Tom and Lisa McCleary
SCOPE
OF WORK: This 4,000 square foot sports bar and restaurant
was a first generation build out in Snohomish's new town center
shopping area. The goal of the design was to forge a comfortable
space for the blue-collar clientele that is as elegant as
it is functional. The U-shaped bar, eating stations and big
screen entertainment centers were part of an extensive casework
package. Construction of a sunken floor created a separate
space for pool tables and live bands. |
